The goal of a Christain is to become the man or woman that God wants us to be, by allowing his vision, mission, purposes, and goals to shape our lives. One way we can lead men or women to this is it through discipline. A discipline, or in our case "spiritual discipline," is a training activity that helps to shape and force character over an extended period of time that accelerates and focuses the process. I THANK ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD FOR ALL THEY DO!
Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and family and to create memories that will last forever. I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before. Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.
Everyone who enters CLBC never leaves the same. Lives are changed, one person at a time, by the preaching and teaching of God’s word, and by the love experienced here in fellowship. Members and visitors alike testify to the spirit of love that radiates from CLBC. Pastor Brandon Washington believes in loving others to a better place, and that love sets the atmosphere for all to come as they are, many of whom are wounded, broken, hurt, defeated, angry, mislead, until they come face-to-face with Jesus— the ONE whose Love Never Fails! If that’s you, Come! Come taste and see that the Lord is good. Come! We invite you with open arms to this light on the hill that cannot be hidden. Come. Pray and Worship. This is the place where dreams come true in Jesus’ name, the Name that Makes the Difference.

Despite struggling to make ends meet for their family, her parents made service a way of life for their children – if someone was less fortunate, it was their job to serve that person. This ethic – and her parents’ unwavering commitment to providing educational opportunity for their children – led to her life of public service.
